Aromatherapy is the healing art of using essential oils to promote health and well being.
Essential oils can be used in many ways including massage, inhalation, creams, baths, compresses, personal perfumes to name but a few.
All essential oils have different properties some are relaxing whilst others are stimulating, other properties include anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-fungal, analgesic, decongestant, sedative, the list goes on & on.....
Aromatherapy works in two ways.
1. The oils are inhaled and the powerful aromas stimulate the brain. This could be a subconscious reaction relating to aromas you remember as relaxing from childhood or specific to the essential oils used, creating an uplifting, relaxing environment for example. They also through this method enter the blood via the lungs
2. Via massage essential oils are absorbed by the skin and can help the skin directly or via the bloodstream can go on to help other parts of the body.
All sorts of people can benefit from an aromatherapy treatment, especially those suffering from stress, depression, skin disorders, digestive problems, poor sleep patterns, muscular aches and pains and sinus problems.

Crystal healing has been used for thousands of years. Records show the Chinese using crystals 5000 years ago and they are still used in Traditional Chinese Medicine today. Crystals interact with invisible energy waves (such as radio waves) in the atmosphere and the individual. They affect the subtle electromagnetic energy fields penetrating and surrounding the physical body. They have the ability to magnify or reduce those energy patterns, and thus it can work in a similar way to modern ultrasound technology. However, Crystals heal by rebalancing and religning energies on an emotional, mental and spiritual level as well as the physical. During a session the client is encouraged to relax. Crystals are then placed on or around the client, as appropriate to their needs at that time, thus the crystals used and their positioning will vary at each session.

Deep Tissue Massage is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It helps loosen muscle tissues, releases toxins from muscles and gets blood, and therefore oxygen, circulating properly. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as "adhesions"). Similar to Swedish massage, Deep tissue massage uses slower and firmer strokes and pressure than other treatments - deep finger pressure that concentrates on particular areas, and follows or goes across the fibres of muscles and tendons.
Deep tissue massage is often used to treat people who are recovering from accidents, and for sports injuries as it increases blood circulation in muscles that are underused, relieves chronic muscle tension throughout the body, and can also break down scar tissue and "knots" deep in the muscles. The aim of deep tissue massage is not to leave you feeling relaxed and full of bliss, it tends to tackle particular physical, muscular problems. It usually focuses on more specific areas and may cause some soreness during or right after the massage. However, if the massage is done correctly, you should feel better than ever within a day or two.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)
Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT, is a natural tool to aid the healing of negative emotions associated by an event, or a thing or situation. It works by "tapping" into the body's natural energy system. The ancient chinese discovered that the body contains pathways, like veins, that carry energy around our body. When we experience a negative emotion that energy flow gets disrupted, and our energy is unable to flow as it should. Very much like a blood clot in a vein, the energy gets blocked in this pathway. By tapping on the head, body and hand whilst simultaneously focusing on the problem, we are able to unblock the stuck energy so that it can flow again. Once the energy is flowing again, the negative emotion is released. Typically these results are lasting.

Holistic Voice Therapy is what is termed an 'energy medicine', because it aims to bring the body's vibrational energies into their optimum balance on all levels, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. The body exchanges these energies with the outside world through the chakras, or energy centres, which are lined up along the centre of the body. Each one governs different aspects of our body, mind and emotions. At any one time, a chakra can be vibrating 'out of tune' from its healthy frequency, being either under- or over-active. Using the right sound with a healing intention can gently entrain the centre back into balance. Treatments are one-to-one and consist of a simple, relaxing chakra balance, or a series of three to five in-depth sessions for a specific problem.
In either session, a practitioner will scan the client with sound to discover the chakras that are a priority to work on. The correct tones (single vowel sounds) are then directed to the specific areas, after which the client will be 'bathed' in overtones and then grounded with simple percussion instruments. A relaxing chakra balance will finish at this point.

Affectively treats deafness resulting from the build up of earwax, glue ear, vertigo, Meniere's syndrome and sinusitis.

Kinesiology uses muscle-testing to identify and correct imbalances in your body's energy. These imbalances may relate to stress, injury, nutrition, learning difficulties, pain, anxiety or some other cause. By testing various muscles we can get a read-out of what is happening on all levels: mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, nutritional etc. Your body then chooses (indicating with muscle responses) what it needs to get better. Kinesiology is gentle, non-invasive and pain-free. It enables you to find solutions, resolve stress, remove pain and move forward to achieve your potential.

Matrix Reimprinting works to enhance traditional EFT, by changing your relationship to your past, which in turn dramatically transforms your physical and emotional health in the present. Matrix Reimprinting allows you to interact and communicate with your younger self in past situations, resolve traumas and create new 'memories' in the field. Resolving these negative pictures and emotions around past memories in this way has a positive impact on your emotional and physical well-being in the present. When you go to remember the original event, not only have you resolved all your emotional intensity around the issue, but you often have the new picture that you have created in your memory. These pictures affect your physiology and psychology on every level.
By changing the memory in this way you are interacting with what you hold in your field, which in turn affects your health and well-being in your current reality in a positive way.

This is a way to connect to your inner self and release the destructive patterns that cause stress in your life. A way of enhancing your awareness and finding your focus. Many people are unwilling to try meditation because they hold misconceptions about what is involved. Here are some of the common myths about Meditation; that you have to 'empty your mind'; that you will be 'hypnotised', or you are mind 'controlled'. What meditation actually does is help you to achieve a state of focused alert mind and relaxed body. The participants are in control of their experience at all times.

Reflexology is a therapy that involves a method of treatment using different massage techniques to the feet. The principle behind it is that there are energy zones and reflex points which correspond to all the major organs, glands and body parts. By working these reflexes the body is treated as a whole removing unwanted toxins. The aim is to restore the body to its natural balance.

It uses symbols based on the shapes of Hebrew letters. These symbols carry angelic energy that are used for healing. Each symbol carries its own particular energy that is used to create fast and affective healing. The term "Swedish Massage" refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.
Swedish Massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create other health benefits. Swedish massage usually includes some deeper work on areas of specific muscle tension and uses softer strokes on the bonier and more delicate parts of the body or stronger strokes where there is thicker muscle coverage. This sensitivity to pressure makes it ideal for relaxation. Besides the calming benefits, Swedish massage is thought to be good for easing muscular strain by flushing out toxins, improving circulation by increasing oxygen flow in the blood, helping to keep ligaments and tendons supple, stimulating the nervous system and reducing emotional and physical stress.

Thought Field Therapy involves tapping on specific meridian points in a specific order, which 'deactivates' the stressful emotional response to an event, situation or problem. These points correspond to the classical Chinese acu-points which have been used for thousands of years with acupuncture, acupressure and, more recently, with kinesiology. Although the stress is removed using this tapping technique, the memory and learning are still there - but are no longer stressful. This means the person can think or talk about an event or problem without becoming distressed. Fears, phobias and anxiety can be removed usually in one session - more complex issues or those affected by toxins will take slightly longer.
