I am often asked the question why I became a therapist and I have to say the answers is multi-faceted, but I suppose the real reason was that I had received the benefit and seen the results myself when receiving Aromatherapy massage and Reiki, that as a previous sceptic I became curious and wanted to learn for myself.
I began learning Reflexology in the 1990s and took an accredited Association of Reflexologists course with Gill Souter in Canterbury (an excellent teacher by the way). As I gradually began to realise that stress is the root cause of many of our “conditions”, - migraines, poor immune system, digestive discomforts, panic attacks etc., I realised that it was important to also get to the cause of stress related illnesses as well as treating the symptoms. I continued studying learning first Reiki, then Indian Head Massage, Corporate Stress Consultancy and Relaxation Therapy.
During that time I realised that the more people who could learn Reiki the better so took the step of moving on to become a Reiki Master. I do not ascribe to the high fee system for learning Reiki and make positive efforts to ensure that Reiki One is given at a charge that only covers my expenses for producing the manual and travelling to the venue etc.
I have given many workshops over the years including on local courses on Reflexology, as well as conducting Stress Awareness courses n London and Guildford for the CPS; London Advertising agency, SEDA; Breast Cancer Aware.
I am able to travel if clients find it impossible to come to me, but prefer to offer them the tranquil setting of a clinical therapy room if possible.

- STRUCTURED CORPORATE STRESS AWARENESS SEMINARS FOR HR MANAGERS, LINE MANAGERS etc
- ONE TO ONE STRESS COUNSELLING (a mixed programme which includes the use of constructive counselling, reflexology and relaxation therapy) &pund;20 per hour
- RELAXATION THERAPY groups of 5 or more (£4 per person) – 1½ duration
- INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE £20 per treatment
- REFLEXOLOGY AND REIKI £20 per treatment
